Greg Gorman

Greg Gorman, born in Kansas in 1949, has captured the attention of audiences worldwide with his compelling photography. Renowned for his minimalist and genuine approach, Gorman is a master of portraiture, adept at revealing the essence of his diverse subjects from the entertainment, sports, and music industries. Among his notable subjects are cultural icons such as David Bowie, Sofia Loren, Jane Goodall, and Elton John. Gorman's work has been featured in exhibitions globally, and he has published thirteen photography books. His latest, titled "Homage," is a collaboration with fellow artist Gary Johns. His distinguished career has garnered several prestigious awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award in Portraiture from the Professional Photographers of America and a Lucie Award for Portraiture. Gorman is passionate about the art of portraiture, which he views as a collaborative journey with his subjects.
