The Longhorns of Ut don't get a great reception in a Tcu bar.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThere is a legendary oil saloon in the heart of the Permian Basin that is always filled with landmen and patch workers and I thought it an ideal backdrop to play to this college rivalry. “The Bar” is the drinking home of the Texas oil man and it seemed to make sense, therefore, that I played it as a Tcu bar and not a Ut bar.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn a tableau like this, every little detail matters and since I am in control of the composition, the blame stops with me if there is an issue. But when a big longhorn is thrown into a tight saloon, all bets are off; there are variables I can’t really control and the odds are all against me.
