Heinz M. Gut is a photographer and book author from Switzerland who centers his artistic work on nature and wildlife photography all around the world. With an adventurer spirit, he focuses his photographic quest on difficult to access grounds where he documents the incredible beauty and diversity of our planet. By keeping a keen eye on the aesthetics, dynamics, and powerful energy of a specific animal, or paying great attention to the elusive, atmospheric moment of a scenery, he tries to preserve rare and precious moments in time for a general audience. Through his artwork, he wishes to open people's hearts for the magnificence of the natural world with its unbelievably rich life, thereby also reminding about nature's fragility in current times. His first long-term project lead him into the Swiss Alps, where he documented the incredible life of the legendary golden eagle.
